Rangers vs. Braga Betting Tips 15/04/2022

Teams Status

Take a look at the latest form and team news from both sides:

Rangers Form and Team News

The Scottish Champions have failed to defend their league title, with Celtic poised to claim yet another trophy over their rivals. They have turned their attention to the Europa League and are under pressure to win silverware. Rangers’ 20-match unbeaten run at home ended in their 2-1 loss at their last home game, but their excellent home form gives them a slight upper hand going into this fixture.

Rangers can also draw some hope from their last outing against Braga in 2020, where they prevailed over their opponents by 3 goals to 2 after trailing by 2–0 on the night. They are still yet to concede the first goal at home since early November, further underlining their dominance at home as they go into this winner-takes-all match.

For injuries and absences, Rangers will be without Nnamdi Oforborh, Alex Lowry, Ianis Hagi, John Lundstram, Alfredo Morelos, and Filip Helander are currently injured and may not play a part as Rangers welcome Braga to Glasgow.

Braga Form and Team News

The Portuguese side ground out a 1-0 victory in the first leg of their quarter-final meeting with Rangers and followed it up with another 1-0 win in the league, making it four wins in a row. Their win against Rangers ended the Scottish side’s 13-match winning run against teams from Portugal, and they now need only a draw to progress to the semis.

Braga have an excellent record of progressing to the next round when taking the first-leg win into an away return leg, and the Portuguese outfit will fancy their chances of getting another victory here, 13 times out of 13. They have lost 5 times on their visits to Ibrox Stadium, with only 3 wins and 1 draw.

For absences and injuries, Braga will travel without Roger Fernandes and Sequeira, who are currently injured and unlikely to play a part in the trip to Glasgow.
