Australia Women vs South Africa Women Betting Tips 22/03/2022

Teams Status

Australia are the most in-form team in the competition and that too by a margin. They are one of the only two unbeaten teams in the competition with five wins in as many matches. The team’s confidence would be sky high after securing a six-wicket win against India in a hard-fought contest.

Rachael Haynes’ outstanding form at the top of the order is making things easier for the rest of the players. In the last match, captain Meg Lanning played a brilliant knock of 97 off 107 balls.

That innings would be of a big relief for the management as well as for the rest of the players who will be looking at their skipper for similar kind of performances in the upcoming matches.

With the place in the knockout phase of the competition, the management might opt to make a few changes in the starting XI to give some of the players sitting on the bench a chance to showcase their talent.

South Africa:

South Africa, just like Australia, are also an in-form team in the competition with four wins in a row and are looking almost certain to secure their place in the playoffs.

The most encouraging aspect for the management would be the character shown by the players in the previous three matches where against all odds, they secured wins in tightly-contested encounters.

Unlike Australia, South Africa’s strength is their bowling unit where two bowlers have taken 10 wickets — Ayabonga Khaka and Marizanne Kapp. They are the two out of the only four bowlers to have 10 or more wickets in the competition.

On the batting side, there is an overreliance on opening batter Laura Wolvaardt who is the highest run-getter for the side with 260 runs at an average of 65, which included three half-centuries.

In the game against one of the tournament favorites, the management will be hoping that other players will also put their hands up and make themselves count.
